The Asociación de Producción Agrícola Productores de Guanábana del Norte (ASOPROGUAN) is an agricultural association based in Ecuador's Imbabura and Carchi provinces. Established on August 20, 2018, it comprises 20 members—30% women and 70% men—collectively cultivating 50 hectares of Brazilian giant variety soursop. ASOPROGUAN focuses on producing and marketing of fresh soursop guanábana. The organisation counts with a fully equipped collection center and facilitated initial exports to European and Canadian markets.
ASOPROGUAN is a farmer-led association made up of 20 committed families cultivating soursop in the northern region of Ecuador. Each fruit is the result of hands-on care, traditional knowledge, and a deep commitment to quality and sustainability.
