PIEMME is a modern company, a leader in the agri-food and liqueur sector, which produces Limoncello, Babà and its specialities in the respect of tradition.
PIEMME was founded in 1969 by Sorrentine artisans dedicated to the production of lemon-based confectionery specialities and the more traditional Limoncello.
On the basis of this historical recipe, handed down from family to family, and thanks to innovative technological know-how, since 1986 the typical Sorrento lemon peel infusion, together with the baba, has become PIEMME's product and pride.
The passion for territorial traditions and the care for the genuineness of its ingredients pushes PIEMME to follow all stages of the production chain, from the cultivation, harvesting and peeling of the lemon to the infusion and bottling, which take place in the in-house laboratory: the process, artisanal but technologically innovative, is followed by the Quality Control Manager, for the selection of excellent products.
The same care is reserved for the production of confectionery specialities, PIEMME being one of the few companies to boast an in-house confectionery laboratory.
