Soybean expeller or Soybean Meal is a solid, toasted and desolventized product resulting from the industrial extraction of the oil from normal soybeans. It is mainly used for preparing balanced meals for animals because it has a high level of protein (42-46% aprox). During the last decade, these types of products has had a sustained growth. This is because of the internal demand within Argentina, but also, its worldwide demand has been slowly growing too. Protein: 43 % min Ethereal Extract: 8% min Fiber: 6% max Total Minerals: 7% max Moisture: 10% max Calcium: 0,2 - 0,4% Phosphorus: 0,6 - 0,8% Energetic Value: 3200 kcal/kg It is a protein supplement in the diets of cattle and pigs.  The product can be used alone or in mixtures.
