Our Ballerina Canopy range is the flagship label of Gapsted Wines. We source the fruit from a handful of selected growers that consistently produce exceptional grapes. Uncompromising winemaking practices such as carefully controlled fermentations, premium oak maturation and bottle ageing then transform the fruit into the highest quality wines. Complextiy, balance and elegance are the hallmarks of our Ballerina Canopy range. Vineyard Region: Heathcote Tasting Note: This wine shows the typical deep red garnet hues of youth. The nose displays intense plum and dark cherry aromas, beautifully integrated with hints of white pepper. The rich and concentrated palate is full of plummy fruit flavours. The wine was matured for 18 months in American oak barrels, and has the tannin and fruit structure to mature gracefully in bottle for up to 15 years from vintage.
