Winter variety ripening at the turn of September and October. Is a bud mutation of Ruby. Fruits are large, spherical. The peel is smooth, shiny, moderately oily. The basic colour is greenish-yellow, later orange, covered by a bright red opaque colour for the most part of the fruit. The flesh is orange, finer than Ruby, but firmer.
