Aadrea Cypress essential oil is extracted from needle-bearing coniferous trees, derived from young twigs, stems and needles of the woody cypress tree Cupressus sempervirens L, also known as Mediterranean cypress. The essential oil is a pale yellow to yellow mobile liquid. Its scent is characteristic, terpenic, fresh and sweet. The main active component(s) in a typical oil sample are: α-Pinene (40 – 60%), δ-3-Carene (16 – 27%), Limonene (2 – 5%), Myrcene (1 – 3.5%), β-Pinene (0.5 – 3%), α-Thujene, α-Fenchene, Sabinene, and Terpinen-4-ol, all ranging 0.5 – 2%.
