Meat exports to China fell by almost 10% YoY, representing an export decrease of 4.6K tons. However, this decline is partially caused by higher exports to other countries. China is the primary export market for Argentinian beef, holding 78% market share. Sales to Israel amounted to 23K tons making it the second-largest export destination, and Germany maintained its 3rd position with 16K tons. Other reasons for the drop in Chinese imports of Argentinian beef are the devaluation of the currency and the local pork surplus.
