2020 was a year where despite the major difficulties the world faced, the Argentine pork industry broke most of its records (exports, production, and consumption). It is in that sense that projections estimate Argentine pork exports for 2021 to be around 42K tons, meat production to be near 800K tons, and a total slaughter of 7M animals.
During the period of Jan-Nov 2020 exports were about 39.4K tons, meat production 740K tons, and a total slaughter of 6.5M animals.
