60% catfish production in Malaysia are wild-caught

Although fishermen in the East coast region try to make farmed catfish instead of wild-caught, it is still difficult to do because the East coast suffers from floods at least 4x per year. This will damage the fish nursery. Due to that, 60% of catfish production in the East coast region is still wild-caught.
