In 2019 the import of frozen fruit to the US has increased with more than 11%, reaching a record level of 455 thousand tons. The most imported fruits were the mango, pineapple and the cranberry. The reason behind this tendency is the impact of strong dollar on the trading markets, making importing more attractive to the American buyers.
