Due to port congestions in major ports across Indonesia, a number of chicken egg suppliers in Indonesia have decided to suspend their export activity and focus primarily on distributing their products to the domestic market. The chicken egg exporters are uncertain when their products can receive the clearance to leave the ports, and thus are worried about the diminishing quality of their products amid the delay or prolonged delivery time, which might cause their products to be rejected by the buyers. This current situation has disabled these suppliers to respond to the requests from some of the frequent buyers from Libya and Iran.
