The potential for the export of Cassava Starch has continued to increase in Ghana. The USA and Italy emerging as the largest market destination for Cassava Starch from Ghana with estimated imports 96.4% of from the two-trade partners. The coming into force of the the African Continental Free Trade Area a few notable African countries are targeted for increased export drive. Nigeria is one of such countries. Potential new markets are Poland, Portugal, Italy, Nigeria and Malaysia.
