Normally, during the months of January and February , egg production decreases due to the cold weather in the producing states, of which generally causes a price increase up to 10 % due to the low supply. But since March, as more consumers started stocking food due to Covid -19, egg prices have increased 27% as compared to the previous month. Yet it is expected to increase even further in the following days as most distributors have run out of stock.
