Between February to March 2020, 417 MT of pasteurized cow milk was exported from Indonesia to the neighboring countries such as Malaysia and Brunei. The demand from both countries, especially for milk, was high due to tight social distancing rule in the two countries due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This condition was also very beneficial for the local dairy farmers in Indonesia as the price for this commodity national was low due to the decreasing demand.
