Bulgarian potato growers say unfair competition undermines their sales

Bulgarian potato growers claim they are exposed to unfair competition by imports from Germany, Poland, and Czechia. The imported potato purchase price is said to be €0,01 per kg which makes it impossible for national farmers to compete with these prices.
There are already a few big retail chains that have signed contracts and started receiving imported potatoes and the same retailers haven't renewed their contracts with Bulgarian farmers.
