Bulgaria is the world leader in lavender oil production and produces approximately 200 MT/year. As the weather conditions worsen with droughts and untimely rainfalls, lavender growers in Bulgaria are expecting lower yields. The limited yield might be a change in the position of the region and will push the farmgate lavender prices to go down. The global pandemic will impact the price of the oil majorly as lavender oil is not a staple/necessary product.
