Grouper and Mackarel two priced commodities of Malaysia

Although there is no specific season for mackerel and grouper in Malaysia, the monsoon season affects the number of catches of these 2 fishes in Malaysian waters. In the monsoon season (October), mackerel fish are easier to catch compared to grouper. Grouper will only return to the shallow sea in March which is inter-monsoon time and will be there until October. But during these times, mackerel will be lesser since these two types of fishes do not get along.
