There are a few farmers in the Shan Region that grow organically certified chili peppers. The high-quality fresh organic chili pepper is mainly exported to the Chinese buyers who resells to high-ranking hotels and restaurants in China. The chili pepper season of the Shan Region is this upcoming April, however, there is no purchase order from China due to the COVID-19. Due to this, chili pepper growers are in need to resell their products to the domestic market at a lower price.
