Bulgarian chicken egg and meat production hit by Covid-19

Bulgarian chicken egg and chicken meat producers have suffered losses due to the lockdowns caused by the Covid-19 outbreak.
The chicken egg and meat industry have seen shortages caused by the lack of necessary vaccines for the birds however early and timely measure taken by the government allowed a flawless product distribution, therefore, the shortages haven't been felt by the consumers.
On the other hand, people retreating to their hometowns, drastic decrease of demand from the Black Sea summer resorts, and from Greece greatly impacted the chicken egg and meat production and the exports respectively.
