Papaya production in Mexcio

The production of papaya in Mexico is mainly confined to the Caribbean coastal states and the Southern Pacific states. Most production comes from the state of Colima. The state's sanitary standards are internationally approved due to which over 92% of the production done in Colima is exported to the USA.
