In the current perspective of controlling the spread of the virus, and according to professionals, the precautionary measures taken by the government have been reinforced on fishing vessels that accommodate more than 30 people. In this sense, each boat trip is followed by disinfection of the work premises and on the other hand, this crisis is pushing the wholesalers not to buy the usual quantities, with losses noted for the shipowners.
Currently, the fishery products' sector is counting mainly on the demand of supermarkets, fish markets, and local neighborhoods' markets.
