Bulgarian region Kyustendil expects good sweet cherry production yield, short of pickers

Kyustendil is the major sweet cherry production region of Bulgaria where the growers are in expectation of good production yield in the upcoming harvest, however, due to the measures taken by official authorities make the growers cautious about the movement of cherry pickers and disruption of domestic logistics network.
Local logistics disruptions and shortage of laborers might as well increase the prices of cherries this season. Experts say that there should be an increase but controlled and reasonable within market reality.
