Orange production in southern states marred by HLB

Production of oranges in the southern pacific regions has been hit over the last 6 months due to huanglongbing(HLB) disease that is incurable, and has ruined orange production in northern parts of Guatemala.
Currently, the production for the region has plummeted by over 75% , even though most production is from small scale producers , and mainly for the domestic market.
