Tanzania targeting shift from Crude Palm Oil to Sunflower Oil

Although Tanzania imports 60% of its cooking oil mostly CPO (Crude Palm Oil) from Indonesia and Malaysia. The government effort on tax and tariff changes encourage the industrial investments in sunflower oil production. By growing new hybrid seed which will help increase the production of sunflower seed hence increase in sunflower oil production.
