Turkish trout exports rise by 41 %

Trout exports of Turkey has increased by 41% and reached 21.1 million USD in the first 2 months of 2020.

Trout is the 3rd biggest export item among Turkish fish product exports and is exported mostly in frozen and smoked form.

Germany was the top export destination for Turkish trout exports with an export volume of 8.6 million USD. Russia and the Netherlands were among the other popular export destinations for this product with export volumes of 5.4 million USD and 1.9 million USD respectively.
