Border closures between Turkey and Iran caused by the Covid-19 breakout are now have been reevaluated by both sides and decided to reopen the customs offices in order to have the trade continue without interruptions between the two countries. The decision will allow Iran to export garlic and watermelon to Turkey where there has been a huge demand increase especially in garlic and followed by soaring prices in the domestic market.
