Belize's pork and beef exports have been significantly cut as COVID has wreaked havoc in the CARICOM region. Demand for prime cuts shipped to the Caribbean has fallen due to lack of tourism/hospitality while the export of live hogs and cattle to neighboring Guatemala has also been interrupted.
