Arrowroot production is now gaining popularity in Kenya as the demand has risen over the last few years due to its health benefits. In Kenya Arrowroot is constantly produced all year round in the western part of Kenya which receives regular rains making a perfect weather pattern. The Eastern part of Kenya also produces a significant amount of the tuber whose main seasons run from November to March with cultivation relying on January and March's short rains.
