Egypt plans to increase sesame cultivated areas to 70,000 acres

Egypt plans to expand sesame crops in the new season in April and May, and increase the areas of the crop in newly reclaimed lands, Also by providing new high-yielding varieties to contribute to reducing the gap from oil crops.
The sesame area is expected to increase to 70,000 acres for the new season, compared to 67,000 acres for the 2019 season.
