COVID 19 Effects: Commodity brokers in Ethiopia are controlling the market negatively

The local price of onion,garlic and wheat in Ethiopia has skyrocketed amid COVID 19 lock down. Brokers are taking enjoying all the benefits of the flawed regulation systems and poor farmers for that situation. Presently, the price of onion is 30 Birr/kg, garlic 180 Birr/kg, wheat 2, 300 Birr/Quintal. Slow procurement is also responsible for that price hike.
