Canadian seafood suppliers are seeing a significant shift in demand from the food service to the retail segment across the US, Europe, and China as restaurant traffic continues to fall across the world due to the Coronavirus. A shift towards shelf-stable, fresh and frozen products from consumers looking to both stockpile supplies and enjoy seafood products typically consumed at restaurants has changed the make-up of orders and products demanded from suppliers.
