May was the busiest month for Canadian canary seed exports in 2020 so far and overall exports are 2.5% higher than through the first five months of 2019. Poor fall weather resulted in a lower output of last year's crop and supply is tighter than in previous years. Canada's next harvest begins in September/October and the market will become more clear in the coming months.
