Iran agricultural production expected to reach 128 million tons by March 2021

Iran is expected to outperform the previous year by 3 million tons in agricultural products such as wheat, barley, canola, and other oilseeds.
The total agricultural production output is expected to reach 128 million tons by March 2021, the date that marks the end of the current Iranian year.
The increase in the production output is reported to be due to favorable weather conditions and good rainfalls.
Compared to last year's rainfalls, the current year's rainwater level has been at 302 mm which helped increase the water storage levels in the dams as well.
