The exporting of chicken meat is on hold in Hungary for the upcoming weeks/moths because of the unexpected shortage of food products in the shops resulted by the increased domestic demand. The majority of the society started to buy more meat products and canned goods as a response to Covid-19 infecting more and more people across Europe. The quickly changing export regulations and stricter border control also makes exporting activity difficult and unpredictable.
