Grains, Beans and Potatoes under export restrictions in Tanzania

In Tanzania, the exportation of cash crops such as Coffee, Cashew nuts, and Tea has no export restriction compared to the exportation of food crops such as Maize, Sorghum, Millet, Rice, Beans, Cassava, and Potatoes.
Often food crops restriction occurred to ensure food security in the country. Export restrictions help to ensure product availability to the market at a lower affordable price.
