Fish farmers from Ghana seek market for produce

Fish farmers in the Kwahu area in Ghana are looking for markets for their produce. There has been a negative impact of the coronavirus outbreak on their businesses. Farmers in Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region could not find a market for several tons of tilapia and catfish produced in the first quarter of the year.
Fish have become overgrown and the cost to feed these fish is also growing. The fish farmers are looking for new markets to expand and appealed to neighbouring countries, private entities and government to buy the fish
