Saudi Arabia has increased its self-sufficiency in food and agricultural products. Currently, the global food supply is facing certain complications due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The Saudi government has decided to finance the farmers with more than $500 million. They wish to achieve self-sufficiency levels in dates, vegetables, poultry, fish, chicken eggs and cow milk production.
