Despite the start of the new beetroot season, there is still a lot of beetroot on the market from last year's crop. Product quality remains high, although there is almost no demand. Producers are ready to sell leftover beetroots at any price to free up storage space for beetroot from the new crop. Due to this situation, the sown area under beetroot next year may be reduced.
