Fish farmers generate 374 million USD of export revenue in Mugla

93 fish farms located in Mugla produce nearly 90 kmt of fish annually and last year the producers exported nearly 75 kmt of products to 85 different countries.

The main export products were trout, seabass, and gilt-head bream and the producers were able to generate export revenue of 375 million USD. The producers in Mugla are responsible for nearly 65% of the fish farm production in Turkey.

The fish exports from the city continue at full speed in the new year with nearly 19 kmt of exports in the 1st quarter of 2020 for an export revenue of 90 million USD.
