Chinese production deficit in pork meat has been mainly caused by the Swine Fever last year and it continues with a harder hit by Covid-19.
Chinese demand for pork meat is expected to be the biggest ever and reach 3.9 million tons and exporters evaluate the deficit in China to create new opportunities for manufacturers from the USA, UK, and the EU, mainly France and Spain.
It is expected that the EU and UK to mark an increase of 11% in pork meat exports to China, in 2020 compared to last year.
