Market preference and demand for sugar cane drink in the Central Indonesia region

Unlike in the Western and Eastern Indonesia region where almost 95% of the sugar cane is used in the production of white sugar, sugar cane in the Central Indonesia region is mostly used in the production of sugar cane beverage. Aside from the market preference and high demand for sugar cane drink, the production of white sugar in this region has not been made possible as there is no manufacturing facility available that can produce white sugar on a massive scale. Moreover, the production output of sugar cane in this region is not as much and reliable as the plantations in other regions in Indonesia, hence making the production of white sugar less enticing for most big-scale manufacturers.
