The Argentine Foreign Ministry is rushing the arrival of rabbis from Israel for kosher certification of beef for export. This is an external sale that would represent a turnover of U$ 50M for the country, in a growing market that is expected to finish 2020 with 24K tons exported for U$ 170M.

98 rabbis will enter the country in order to grant kosher certification to 6 plants.

During the first three months of the year, Argentina has exported 8.5K tons of meat to Israel for a value of US $ 60 million, and a shipment of 15.5K tons is pending, which will result in a foreign exchange income of close to U$ 110M.

The Israeli market is of vital importance for Argentina since it has exhibited an upward trend and a price differential of 42% over the rest of the markets in recent years.
