Iran is expecting to resume exports to Kuwait after a halt caused by Coronavirus health concerns from the Kuwaiti authorities. According to the Iranian ambassador to Kuwait, the exports will resume next week and after Iranian officials have reassured Kuwaiti authorities that health and hygiene measures will be followed very strictly for all shipments from Iran to Kuwait. Kuwaiti authorities are said to be prepared to resume imports from Iran. The most concerning Iranian products will be Iranian pistachios, dried fruits such as dates, plums, and raisins which are well-known and demanded products in Kuwait.
