The Bulgarian Sectoral Chamber for Meat Breeding is looking to expand their breeding capacity and consecutively expand their meat exports to Turkey and to the Middle East region.
The Chamber acknowledges the fact that Turkey is among the top beef meat consumers in Europe and the country presents many export opportunities for Bulgarian farmers and exporters since Bulgaria is in the proximity of the target region and freight costs are relatively affordable.
The head of the Meat Breeding Chamber informs that Bulgarian beef meat can be competitive and attractive among Turkish and Middle Eastern consumers if it's offered with the correct price strategy.
