Mexico witnesses a spike in the demand for cow milk as the country went into lockdown due to COVID19. The demand for milk has increased by 13% in comparison to the previous years. A dip in the production of cow milk was witnessed in the month of May (2020) the country witnessed a deficit in cow milk production of 19.1%. Milk is being imported from the USA and parts of South America. The impact of discord between demand and supply was seen on the price of milk. The prices soared by 14% compared to the prices in February.
