US almond prices falling due to over supply

US almond prices have fallen significantly in 2020 for a multitude of reasons but the primary one is farmers planting more trees. In addition, the USDA has forecasted almond exports for the 2019-20 season to be at their lowest level in three years due to a combination of COVID and higher Chinese tariffs.
