Demand for fruit and vegetables has declined after the introduction of Movement Control (MCO) last month, resulting in oversupply in the market and falling prices. This is due to the fact that since the outbreak of COVID-19 the domestic tourism industry has also been affected, combined with movement control. Since then, the demand for vegetables from the restaurant has also decreased and there is an oversupply on the market. As a result, the prices of vegetables such as gain kale, spinach, soybeans, and cucumbers have fallen.
