Eid festival to increase import demand in Bangladesh

Eid al-Fitr, a festival marking the end of Ramadan, is expected to increase the import demand in many Muslim countries. In Bangladesh, demand for herbs & spices, including cardamom is expected to increase as the festival celebrates "breaking the fast" of Ramadan and consumption of sweets is common. The beginning of Eid is either May 23 or 24 depending on the country.
