Galician milk producers set a domestic production record with 100 litres of milk per second

This month, Galician milk producers reached an all-time production record, producing 100 liters of milk per second. There are currently 7,000 producers in the region, 5,000 less than a decade ago. Nonetheless, the production levels of most of them have increased dramatically. Today, they all produce 8.1 million liters per day, and as farmers confirm, is far from the peak of production capacity. The production levels are expected to continue growing and demand seems to be growing as well, therefore we can expect the number to continue growing in the near future.
