English farmers and manufacturers who are producing original and unique traditional coffee have been severely affected by the serious COVID situation in England. English farmers have previously switched to producing country-unique coffee products as they were not able to compete with Brazilian or Vietnamese coffee in terms of price globally and to sell to local and domestic customers such as restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions. However, due to the outbreak of the pandemic, restaurants and hotels have closed down, which have significantly decreased the sale of unique traditional English coffee beans.
